Nathaniel Oloan Leofitra Mangunsong

Nathaniel Mangunsong, head of PSHP Adrem Law’s Corporate and M&A practice, contributes over 20 years of expertise in corporate and commercial matters, including fundraising, venture capital and private equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, and startup growth. After more than a decade at international law firms and multinational companies, Nathaniel served as general counsel at leading Indonesian technology companies, where he oversaw their growth through multiple fundraising rounds, M&A transactions, and regional expansion across Southeast Asia.

Named to Asian Legal Business’ list of Asia’s Top 15 Rising Lawyers in 2021 and recognized as a Top Ranked lawyer by Chambers Asia Pacific in both Corporate/M&A and Startups & Emerging Companies, Nathaniel is “highly regarded in the start-up and venture capital community in Indonesia” and “has in-depth expertise in representing startups in their fundraising and M&A activities in the Indonesian market.”

Nathaniel earned his Bachelor of Laws in 2004 from Universitas Indonesia in Business Law, followed by a Master of Laws in Corporate Law in 2008 from New York University. In 2025, he further advanced his academic journey by completing a Doctoral degree in Business Law at Universitas Indonesia.

He registered as a legal consultant with the Indonesian Financial Services Authority. He also serves as a board member of the Indonesia’s Financial Sector Legal Consultants Association and the Indonesian Competition Lawyers Association.
